Mandala Making Workshops

with Dr Susan Mackay

Ancient tools for meditation -
Workshops with a twist!

A creative, reflective, relaxing, inspiring, playful time in a small in-person group in central Edinburgh, Scotland!

Mandalas are ancient tools for meditation. Fundamentally a circle and a square. These can be peronsonalised. They can be for fun or for contemplation.

In the workshop, Susan will introduce a brief history of mandalas and look at some examples like intricate Buddhist sand work - hours in the creation, swept away in seconds.

Then she will lead you in creating your own. There will be a rich variety of supplies to inspire you. All creativity levels welcome, as Susan will be on hand to guide you as much (or as little) as you need.

The 2 hour workshop closes with sharing the creations and taking time to reflect, notice and wonder about your own and each others process.
